And now for something completely different

So many of the recent posts have been about local politics, I thought it might be a nice change of pace to feature something different... I have a section named "Fanclub" in my Firefox bookmarks. I thought I'd share some of those links for this post.

John Cannaday is one of Indianapolis's most talented composers and musicians. He has a new album coming out - including a limited edition release to benefit Indiana Equality. Be sure to check it out! His site also has an email list and some music samples. "Bridget's Lullabye" is a favorite of Jerame's that you can hear online. John's Christmas album is probably our most-played holiday CD.

Does anyone else remember the Greek composer Vangelis? Some wine company used his song "Hymne" in the 80's for a series of commercials and then he rather faded from site here in the States. He shouldn't though. "L'enfant" and "Chromatique" are still two of the most beautiful songs ever composed.

While we're on music, I feel compelled to point out that guest blogger, Jeff Newman, isn't just the webmaster of Not only is he the owner of a successful business, he's also one helluva keyboard and guitar player! He's a member of Peace Train, a damn good 60's era rock band.

So what's caught your ear lately? What've you had playing over and over on your iPod? Use the comments section and let me know.
