Poor Jane Fonda

Seems some bastard decided to spit tobacco juice in her face during her recent book tour. He just couldn't get over her anti-war protests during the Vietnam War. The creep told the Kansas City Star:
"It was absolutely worth it. There are a lot of veterans who would love to do what I did."
Bullshit. Most veterans and other sane individuals realize that Ms. Fonda was right. War is a horrible thing. Atrocities were being committed by both sides. Yes, she was photographed on an anti-aircraft gun, but she's apologized for that.

I watched her interview with Larry King last week. She explained the context of the photo, reminisced about her past relationships and movies, and talked about the rigours of being a progressive Christian in today's society. Very interesting interview.

I feel sorry for her. She doesn't deserve this. That war ended decades ago.

Ask Don't Amend's Robin Tyler about their un-U.S.O. Vietnam entertainment tour sometime. It's quite a tale!
