The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown ISBN: 0-385-50420-9 The international best-seller about the Holy Grail and hidden images in Leonardo DaVinci's work. I'm really enjoying this one; it's a page turner. The other night Dateline NBC had a program on how much of the book is true.

Filthy Rich by Dorothy Samuels
ISBN: 0-06-008638-6

Okay, so I have to admit, this is just a fun novel in the tradition of Bridget Jones's Diary. It's nice, light froth about a woman who gets dumped by her fiance on TV. She answers his million dollar lifeline question wrong on "So You Want To Be Filthy Rich?" and he loses the money and ends the relationship. She becomes famous for a little while, doing Letterman and Leno, etc. It's very cute.

The Complete Idiot's Guide to Christianity by Jeffrey B. Webb, PhD.
ISBN: 1-59257-176-X

Jerame and I are always wondering facts about different denominations. I picked this one up shortly after the Pope died to help us in our conversations. It's full of interesting facts and explanations.

Hi Bil! I'm a friend of Marla and Phyllis. To sort out the various Christian groups, I recommend "Handbook of Denominations in the United States" by Mead, Hill & Atwood, 11th Edition, Abingdon Press. You can probably get a used copy cheap from
