Join the Indiana Action Network on Monday Night at 5:00 pm to Defend our Families and Defend our Neighborhoods! Brian Bosma, Speaker of the Indiana House of Representatives and one of Indiana's leading opponents of LGBT rights, is conducting his annual "Junetoberfest" campaign fundraiser at the Rathskeller Biergarten on Monday June 13. This event is taking place in the heart of Massachusetts Avenue, an area whose revitalization was driven in large part by the LGBT community. Bigotry is unwelcome in any Hoosier neighborhood, but none more so than in the heart of Massachusetts Avenue! Join IAN from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm to protest this event! Lift your arm and hoist a sign to protest this invasion of our neighborhood. Bring your family and show Speaker Bosma that our families are just as worth defending as any “traditional” family! Concurrently with the protest will be an IAN fundraiser at Aesop's Tables restaurant, 700 Massachusetts Avenue. If you can’t lift a sign, you can lift a drink and help donate to the cause. Come mingle with progressive politicians who are actively working against the opponents of LGBT rights. Admission is $10 at the door. Aesop's full menu and cash bar will be available; reservations are recommended. Please see the IAN representative at the door for admission. In absentia support and donations can be made through IAN's website, IAN would love to see all of you at both events but realize that different people have different styles. Come to one or come to both. Your pride weekend isn't finished until you've defended your family and your neighborhood on June 13th. For additional information, contact IAN by calling 317-413-1539 or 317-213-4148 or by e-mail at [email protected].
