Rattling the can

As you've seen, has grown in size to include 14 bloggers. While some post on a regular basis and others not so frequently, there is currently no way to sort posts by author or subject. It's just not an option with Blogger. Several other functions of the site could stand an improvement also - including the design, layout, and ease of posting to the site.

To remedy this, I have purchased Movable Type. Most of your higher end blogs use this program (see A Commonplace Book, Sardonic Bomb, or the Huffington Post as examples). However, our current site host doesn't support Movable Type so we're going to have to change hosts.

And that's where you come in. We need to raise $120 to move hosts. This will pay for a year at a new host, but has to be paid up front for the year. And I just don't have it. We have an honor system donation box up on the right side of the screen, and I'm asking you to donate to help improve I'm not asking for anything more than the $120 needed to update the site. Donations can be as small as $5.

So if you enjoy the site - whether as a regular reader or a poster - please consider helping to grow and expand. Give today. Any money raised over the $120 will be given to a gay rights organization here in Indiana.

I thank you for your generosity.
