Tonight the Indianapolis City-County Council will have a final vote on Proposition 622 - the proposed changes to the city's Human Rights Ordinance.

Sunday on WISH TV 8, council president Steve Talley was quoted as saying he has the votes necessary to pass the proposition. Indiana Equality Region 8 has worked diligently alongside the proposition co-sponsors to educate the other council members and win the necessary votes.

Come to the council meeting to see this historic event and to offer these brave councilors the support they deserve. It will be a packed house, come early for seating.
