I want to write more, but I seem to be busy this weekend; out or tired.
Tonight is the kick-off gala for Indiana Black Pride, Season II, Diversity and Soul. I hope to see you all there; Adodi Muse should be entertaining and educational.

Tomorrow is the festival in the park. Dierdre McCalla will head a day of entertainment. Perhaps you do not know that this festival will be "family friendly". Not only will our performers keep their acts appropriate for children, but we have added a kid's area with games and staff.

So, bring your kids, brings yourselves and friends and families. Bring your grills and your lawn chairs. Let's make this year in Watkins Park an event to remember. Every time we meet in public, we perform a political act. We need your presence to make the biggest statement we can. Think of it as casting a vote for inclusion in our city. Come and have fun!

The weather report still says "sunny and not too hot". I will have more to say later, that I wish I could say now, but I am off to the health fair, sponsored by the Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County, who have also sponsored Adodi Muse's appearance.
