Please join the Indianapolis Rainbow Chamber of Commerce at our monthly Business After Hours, Today, October 4th, 5:30 to 7:00 pm. This month, the Republican candidate for re-election to Marion County Prosecutor, Carl Brizzi Kennedy, will be our guest. The After Hours will be at Print Resources, located at 1005 N Senate Ave, Indianapolis, IN
(317) 833-7000.

This After Hours represents a great opportunity to tour Print Resources, if you haven't yet, and to meet Carl Brizzi, current Marion County Prosecutor. Kennedy, former Deputy Mayor and candidate for Prosecutor spoke at our last event at the Damien Center. .

This year we have been witness to candidates for city-wide races making a point of meeting glbt citizens, in my opinion representing a truth: As the glbt community of Indianapolis has become well-organized, well-networked, and well-informed, no candidate any longer can acheive city-wide office without a fair share of the votes of our community.

These After Hours, and events like them, should be a must-attend for members of the glbt community. Today's candidate is tomorrow's office holder, and it is essential that office holders become acquainted with us as the decent, tax-paying, law-abiding citizens they see everywhere. They must hear of our concerns first hand. Second, we must be well aware of what positions candidates take on issues important to us. There may be no better opportunity for you to talk with the candidates and make a decision for yourself.

We encourage you to come to Print Resources this afternoon, meet the members of the Rainbow Chamber and meet Carl Brizzi. We hope you stopped by to last month to meet Melina Kennedy. And we encourage you to vote in November.

Please join us.

(And I encourage you to support the businesses that support you by visiting the Rainbow Chamber website and choosing from a wide range of providers. Make your first stop in deciding who to give your business to!)

Please note the wording in this message is nearly identical to the wording of the message printed on behalf of Melina Kennedy's appearance, updated slightly and names reversed. The Chamber is a nonpartisan organization.

Thank you all at the Rainbow Chamber for providing these extraordinary opportunities for the community and for the candidates both. I have no doubt that each group finds benefit in them and that they enhance community life and public policy in ways we can only begin to imagine, see, and experience now and that they, like stones tossed in a pool of water, will ripple through time with considerable power.
