Please note: The following is a message from Gary Brackett, president of Indy Pride, to the Indianapolis gay community:

"Apparantly someone is using my name and the names of other Indy Pride Board members. I know that this individual has called Talbott Street and Gregs asking them to accept a collect call from Gary Brackett, President of Indy Pride. The person then says that he is in Toronto and has been beaten up, money stolen, airline ticket stolen, etc. He is trying to have people wire him money through Western Union. He trys to use other names listed on the website to make you think it is me.

"I am in Indianapolis. I came back to the office to send out this e-mail warning.

"I am NOT in Toronto. This is a SCAM. Do NOT give this person money. If I can find out who is doing this, I will file criminal charges and prosecute him."
