Don't you think this guy looks kinda like Brent Waltz, the conservative "gay face" state senator from Greenwood? Just part his hair on the opposite side and put some glasses on him... Can't you imagine Waltz going on a show and having a meltdown like this? Maybe something like this explains his vote in favor of SJR-7 last time and his big grand-standing speech about how necessary the amendment was, blah, blah, blah. With the amendment guaranteed to pass the Republican controlled state senate in 2005, there was no need for Waltz to get up and flap his jaws about how we were "attacking marriage." Hint to the good Senator: You're not married and probably won't ever get married. Reminds me of that quote from Hamlet. How does that go again? Oh yeah... "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

OK, first of all: what the hell was that?

Second of all, the Google ad at the bottom of this post is for Colts NFL jerseys. Bil, is there a way to change your ad preferences not to include Colts merchandise? Or have we lost another pioneer to the almighty dollar?

Rita, it's a spoof of all those ex-gays with their various kooky ways of explaining how they lost "the gay." It's from an improv public access show. You can find more of the show at

As for the ads, there's not much I can do. Google chooses the content based off of keywords on my site. As we've been talking about Dungy and the Colts a lot lately, it's picking up on that. When we relaunch with the new design, we'll have completely different ad layout from a different service. Stay tuned!

That was very kooky and yep I can totally see that kind of meltdown taking place but a couple of our lawmakers. I was cracking up watching the interviewer!
