Fox News is reporting that they've got the inside scoop on NBC's hiring desires - and Rosie's on the top of their list. From them:o'donnell_rosie_091906.jpg

Look out, ABC -- NBC wants Rosie O'Donnell in a bad way.

New programming chief Ben Silverman is telling friends he will do anything to get O'Donnell onto the network, and not just in daytime. Silverman is talking to O'Donnell about hosting a prime-time game show he has up his sleeve as well as a daytime hour a la "The View."

While Fox News has been obsessed with Rosie ever since she started with The View, with O'Reilly, Cavuto, and Hannity spending upwards of half their shows hating on her, apparently the viewing public wants to see an outspoken, progressive lesbian on TV. You can count me as part of that public! I haven't watched The View since she left, not out of protest, but just because it turned so boring.

I hope they get her a gig with a late-night show like Last Call. Rosie comes off as far more intelligent and authentic than Carson Daly.

Go Rosie! Keep the truth out there!!

I love me some Rosie. I hope she gets a kick-ass show; I'd watch it all the time if she was as forthright as on The View.

(You're not missing much, Alex. It's still set to record on our machine. We've watched the "Hot Topics" segment a couple of times, but then we've gone on to other things...)

Even the NY Times has covered her - she is getting MSM press for some of the "theories" that might not be so out-there after all.
