Japan - without question.
In a place where I am free to love, marry and have every legal protection from discrimination and hate. Since Xanadu doesn't exist, Indiana will have to do. I love the change of seasons: except for a few tornados the weather isn't bad. I also know where every chocolate shop in the area is and most of the places for a good meal.
On large water, with enough land with it to afford some privacy.

I'm thinking Montreal or Paris. Montreal isn't as exciting, but it doesn't have a lot of the big city problems Paris does. Isn't that the way it always is?
