Or something. From him:

In 37 years of public appearances, through wars, protests and highly emotional events, I have never had a dialogue end this way. I believe I could have handled the situation without interruption, but I do not know what warnings or other exchanges transpired between the young man and the police prior to his barging to the front of the line and their intervention. I asked the police to allow me to answer the question and was in the process of responding when he was taken into custody. I was not aware that a taser was used until after I left the building. I hope that neither the student nor any of the police were injured. I regret enormously that a good healthy discussion was interrupted.

Poor police! There were only six of them holding down one unarmed student! They could have been seriously scratched!

Well, that's John Kerry, quite the hero. He didn't know that the kid was being Tasered, even though he was shouting, "Please don't Taser me." And the implication that the worst part of this was that the discussion was interrupted, not that six police officers wanted saw fit to use and used what's sometimes deadly force against a student who wanted to ask the Senator a question.

No wonder this guy couldn't even beat Bush. What a douchebag.

"I was not aware that a taser was used until after I left the building."

Gee Wiz how could you miss it as the man was screaming out as he was tortured by the brown shirts.

I guess Kerry likes hearing himself talk so much that he can even drowned out the sounds of a college kid getting tasered. Way to connect with the people...

Oh, wait -- but Kerry did get elected... not that that's a good thing. I mean let's just say that he's certainly perfected the skills of a candidate.

Apparently that "Don't tase me bro!" and the kids screams of pain couldn't be heard over his own monotonous droning. *spits* As I said to his office in an e-mail, if he's not willing to stop abuse right in front of his face - literally - how in the hell could we expect him to champion freedom and human rights in the world at-large?

This is the symptom of an even larger problem.
Police everywhere are unjustifiably using
excessive force it is the Jack Bower mentality coming to life.

I have to say I agree with you wholeheartedly on this one. I was really uncomfortable watching this young man and seeing the over-reaction by the police. I mean, there were several of them holding the kid down, and then they decide to use a taser??? That's just a teeny bit excessive.
