A second showdown between the California legislature and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger looms following the passage Friday in the Senate of a second bill to allow same-sex couples to wed.
The measure already has passed the Assembly and now heads to the governor's desk.
Schwarzenegger in 2005 vetoed the first bill.
The guv famously vetoed it several years ago saying that the courts or the people should decide who gets to get married. I wonder what it would be like if the people got to vote on every marriage.
He has until October 14 to sign it.
