Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We honor King's dream of equality and freedom, but let's talk about our own dreams. While it is, of course, honorable to look back and remember, let's look ahead today and dream a little ourselves...

What's your dream? In your heart of hearts, what do you pine for? Think "dreams" not "possibilities."

Me? I dream of a world without violence. No war. No violent crime. No guns or bombs or nukes. The downfall of the military industrial complex, the death sentence and hate crimes. I have a dream.

My dream is to live in a world where cancer does not exist. A world where we can live and die with dignity and not at the mercy of insurance companies.

Nice post Bil.

Ethan. that's deep. I'll coopt that dream. And I'll throw and end to AIDS on top of it.

Oh yeah . . . and I dream of Shane.

my dream is to live in a country that has politicians who are truly interested in the greater good. My dream is to live in a country where equality is so common place that a second thought is not given to it because the battle for equality was won generations ago.
My dream is to live in a country where a few extremists were not trying to destroy gender.

Take care

For a world where no one sees one group of people as intrinsically better than another group. At all. For any reason.
