"I too am insulted at the idea that just because I am a person of color and a woman that I should be expected to automatically vote for Obama or Hillary. Why are white men allowed to look at the issues and judge for themselves and the rest of us are expected to take sides grade school style? That is racist and sexist and dumb. That is like if all the stupid people voted for Huckabee."

My godmother feels the same way. She is black woman and people assume she is voting for Obama especially because her son is of mixed race which is, of course, a ridiculous assumption.

Then again, she says she's voting for Hillary specifically "because she's a woman."

How 'bout people might expect you to vote for Obama or Clinton because they know you to be a liberal who has a history of supporting the Democratic Party? Geeze. Besides, if minorities are expected to vote for other minorities, why assume that white men are choosing candidates on the issues? By the same logic, they would be expected to vote for white men.

As for Huckabee voters, I would imagine they, too, believe the earth is 6,000 years old, and that ole Adam and Eve had dinosaurs in the Garden of Eden.
