OMG!!! I so hope the film comes to San Diego. Although in my experience, the general surfing crowd in California is a homophobic, narrow-minded lot so I wonder if they’d go to see it. Boogey-boarders tend to be more radical, open-minded and leftist, at least in my experience.

So, the surfer thing doesn't really do it for me. BUT, this looks sweet and not cliche, which is exciting. In fact, there might not be a single gay club scene in the entire film. It might also not involve anyone coming out or coming of age!

Refreshing. Thanks for the preview.

I saw the premiere of Shelter at the 2007 Frameline Film Fest and it was outstanding. By far, the best gay film I've ever seen. The thing I loved best was how the the films creators made the intimacy more about emotions than physical actions. I highly recommend!
