For those of you who have an interest in Indiana GLBT topics, either because you are a resident or because you have another Hoosier connection, Bil and Jerame are in the process of bringing up a special corner of The Bilerico Project, called “Indiana Bilerico”. I’m quite pleased over that development, because I joined the team of contributors in late 2006 primarily to be able to share my thoughts on SJR7, the proposed “Marriage Protection” Amendment to the Indiana Constitution. As TBP has taken on a more national flavor, the more “state and local” aspects of this topic is understandably of less interest to everyone in our increasingly broad spectrum of readers. Take a moment to go there and bookmark the Hoosier site so that when you can stay up to date with Indiana GLBT happenings.

Along those lines, there’s some great news today about a letter from 56 Indiana law school professors to the Indiana General Assembly opposing the measure that I’ve covered over there.

Ah Don, you beat me to the punch in announcing my own site! :)

I should point out though that we're not quite ready for primetime yet. We'd planned on tidying up everything today and officially launching the site tomorrow morning. So if you cruise over, don't expect everything to be perfect just yet.

We have some more local blogs to add to the blogroll and some new contributor accounts to set up, some template tweaks still to go, and a couple of other small kinks to work out. :)
