"The gay and lesbian community is more accepting of, lately, the leather community than it is the Republican community. West Hollywood will put Mr. Leather as their grand marshal of the parade, but would they ever put a Republican? The answer is Never! And that's a boundary that has to be broken down someday."

-- Log Cabin Republican member Kevin Norte bemoaning the lack of acceptance for gay Republicans. Perhaps if the wannabe Queen for a Day put on some assless chaps, he'd get picked for the parade. Of course, being Republican he'd spend all of the parade's money, borrow more from the religious right, declare war on the Unitarians and then condemn the entire community for picking him to start with.

That's one of the stupidest things ever. "Republican community"? P-shaw. I didn't see anyone up there as grand marshal from the Renaissance Fair Jousting Community either, but I don't hear them complaining.

I don't understand gay republicans. I really don't think I will ever. Maybe its all about money. That's all that really makes sense to me. Republicans on their face are not exactly socially liberal, i.e. pro gay marriage, etc.

You sell him too short.
He's come up with the legal concept that the California anti-gay initiative is illegal. It is on MYSPACE. Just look under his name.

I remebered this comment because my mother read it. Shame on you.
I did develop a legal theory that will probably save marriage in California. All three briefs before the CA Supreme Court are based on it. You really have no idea who I am or what I am about but if I listened to people like you and hid in the shadows, I would not have been helping the gay community.
