Ed Note: With so many people still trying to enter, I've extended the deadline for entry to 4:59pm EST today. Be sure to enter for our newest prize package too! If you're new to the site, don't forget to sign up for our e-mail daily digest.

Several of you entered other contests just for the posters. Well, I have one of each left over so enter now to get both of them plus 11 LGBT DVDs. This package is worth over $450!!

The rules are simple. Leave a comment. The winner will be drawn randomly and the contest ends at 9:29am EST on Friday, July 11 when we'll start our final giveaway of the week. Good luck!

DVD titles are after the jump.

Titles included are:

  • Shelter
  • Hellbent
  • Poster Boy
  • Race You to the Bottom

WOW. 11 DVDs! That's awesome. I live in Kentucky so would probably never see any of these movies in the big screen. I've so wanted to see Shelter. What am I saying? Not probably never see - definitely would never see on the big screen. Thank you for the opportunity.

Your mom never picks #3.

Wow, what a great prize pack. I love you Bilerco!

quitecontrary1977 | July 10, 2008 1:44 PM

sounds fab! pick me!

cool prizes! I love Bilerico!

Looking forward to another year, and hopefully years, of Bilerico.

Ok.... I will forgive you for not announcing me as the John Waters Poster winner last time.

HOWEVER, should I NOT win this time, well I'll....

Okay, so I will continue to be a faithful Bilerico reader, but I will only check in 5 times a day instead of my usual 10.. SO BEWARE!!! MU-WA-HA-HA!!!

Pick me! Pick me! (Please?)

Congrats on the B-Day! Would love to win this prize!

Bilerco has a special place in my heart.
Pick me?!

Katherine | July 10, 2008 3:48 PM

How is random chosen?

Ed Note from Bil: I call a family member or friend that doesn't read the site and ask them to choose a number between 1 and however many comments. (Hence Nick's "Your mom never chooses #3 joke.") Whatever the chosen number is wins.

So technically writing something witty doesn't help your chances. But it sure does amuse me. *grins*

HenryJohn | July 10, 2008 3:54 PM

Oh Pick me!!! For the Love of all that is holy , pick me!!! :)

You should choose me because a) it's my birthday tomorrow b) I am a film lover and c) I don't own any of the above titles.

Happy anniversary Belerico!

-Dutch :)

PS are they region 2 DVDs? I live in the UK...

Yay! Happy Blogiversary, to The Bilerico Project! (Even if Michaelangelo Signorile can't manage to pronounce it correctly! ;-) )

May there be many more years of crunchy TBP goodness!

Wheee! Happy Birthday and many happy returns.

Alexander | July 10, 2008 4:13 PM

Happy Birthday!

How is it that you've put together a list of DVDs that doesn't include any I already have in my collection?

Kyle Flood Kyle Flood | July 10, 2008 4:57 PM

Happy Birthday Bilerico! I read you everyday

A John Waters poster AND a Margaret Cho poster? Both autographed? I am so there. Yeah!

I am loving Bilerico project! It is such a good source for LGBTQ news and updates. I am excited for the even more prospective success it holds after it has already achieved so much. :)

trying for the middle of the pack this time.

MirrorMan | July 10, 2008 8:43 PM

Pick Me! Pick Me! I'm dressed like a turnip!

OKAY - Openid doesn't work! After 3 tries, I give up. Here's all I wanted to post.

"They can present our liberties as a threat to religious freedom all they want. Those of us who understand that religious freedoms are not and were never meant to be elevated above all other freedoms see right through it." - Jeremy Hooper (

Note from Bil: Argh. OpenID. The Bilerico Project Movable Type accounts work much better. That OpenID thing goes haywire half the time.

I tried to register but it didn't work.
Hope I'm stil in the running, 'cause I sure do hope to win these fabulous prizes!

Note from Bil: Check your SPAM folder. The confirmation e-mails get stuck there sometimes.

Happy Anniversary Bilerico!

I'll put my name down for a haul like that, and how!

Luck be a lady tonight.

Thinking hopeful thoughts.

I really want this, in a non-selfish, altruistic kinda way!

brindledbear | July 10, 2008 10:48 PM

Hey swag is good - and I'll share.

Happy Birthday Bilerico and thank you for the infotainment!

BigFagOnTheRag | July 10, 2008 10:49 PM

I want this package.

I want YOUR package.

I like you and your little dog, too. (But I'm willing to just pet the dog.)

Yay for free things!

Seriously? This has got to be the laziest way to win a competition... Which is perfect for me right now because it's been a looooong day!

Besides, who can resist Margaret Cho?

47 is my favorite number because it's the one your mother's brother's son will choose.

If I win, please do not send a scoop of ice cream with the posters and dvds. Thank you.

I'd love to win! I tried registering, too, and still haven't got the email...

Free stuff is popular. I am reminded of a phrase of my Chesterton Indiana born mother:

"For free take! Buy? Waste time!"

Just for old time's sake, since I won a poster a year ago... I still need to get it framed, come to think of it.

OMG I would give a limb for a signed Margaret Cho poster! :)

I could use a nice birthday present. :) Mine was also on the 9th.

Yay for free stuff!

wow! it's been a year already!

Happy Anniversary! Keep on keepin' on.

KMFox9400 | July 11, 2008 6:53 AM

Congratualations on your first anniversary. TBJ is a daily read for me and somehow I thought you'd been around for years. Must be the professional quality of the site or the breadth of contributors and comments. Seriously, not just sucking up. (Pick me, pick me) Keep up the good work.

Wow - what an incredible celebration! Nice job!

Me! Me! Pick me! Hey, I'm over here!! Pick me!! Crap, this is just like gym class in junior high. I'll be the last one picked. I'm too short. Bil doesn't like me. Paige pats me on the head. Jerame took my ice cream home. I never win!!

I'm glad I found this site, but I never win anything.

great blog - great giveaway - hope I win!

One year, way to go!

bill kumberger | July 11, 2008 8:53 AM

What fun! Looks like some good ones in there! ;)

me, me, me! I'll give them to the library I've developed over the past two years.

marblebag | July 11, 2008 1:55 PM

These movies are mostly G in the LGBTQ moniker but it's ok cos I'm also in the G group. Do you have a lot of the other lots signing up ?

I am grateful for being a part of this wonderful community. Thank you to all the bloggers and those who comment on their blogs. So far this experience is like nothing else that I have found on the web. It is the most inclusive community I have found yet.

Thank you and keep talking :)

Congratulations to #18 for winning the contest. The contest is now closed.

Sounds great! Count me in! Thanks.
