Kristin Chenowith Loves the Gays

And we love her right back. The Broadway baby (from hits like "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" and "Wicked") and star of TV and Film (like her highly camp and enjoyable turn as Olive Snook on "Pushing Daisies") is not afraid to say she supports our community completely.

Take a look at her interview on CBS Sunday Morning (the entire profile is good, but the gay stuff is around minute 7). Without prompting, Kristin, a Southern Baptist (who has even released a Christian music album), says that she supports our community all the way. What brought her to this conclusion? Watch the video and read on after the jump...

So why does Kristin support us unequivocally? Simple.

She knows us. She has worked beside us. We are her friends and family. And she is just a good person who sees vocally supporting us as the right thing to do. I just goes to show that when you put a human face on our community, people get it.

Thanks for some holiday cheer, Kristin! We love you too!

And as a side note, her holiday album is GREAT! Buy it now. Seriously.

As is I needed another reason to love her! That was a great interview. I loved that she didn't qualify anything. I'll buy the holiday album and I don't even like Christmas music.
