During Creating Change I had an opportunity to sit down with Jon Hoadley, the Executive Director of Stonewall Democrats. We chatted about the Obama campaign, openly gay Congressman Jared Polis' winning campaign and the Trans for Obama fundraiser.

Thanks, Bil. Great interview.

I was particularly struck by Jon's discussion of the Oregon Senate race and how he was educated by the Stonewall chapter on the ground - and didn't stick with the "Inside the Beltway" thinking.

This is an old argument - national-poll-centered decisions, versus folks on the ground. Perhaps this horrible economic situation will rattle enough of us to start new ways of thinking in our politics....

I have to say, Jon Hoadley has been great as head of Stonewall Dems. We are lucky to have such a smart and energetic leader to the group.

Great interview, Bil!
