Great song, but it's Jay Brannan not Brennan!
It's nice to see Jay's work highlighted here.
I've long been a fan, having bought the limited edition EP, Disasterpiece, in which Jay included a personalized polaroid photo with each copy sold. Last year's release of Goddamned was one of the best CD purchases I've made in quite a while. My partner and I just recently bought his last CD release, In Living Cover, in which he includes two songs he wrote set against a background of covered material including songs by Joni Mitchell, Jann Arden, Ani DiFranco, and Bob Dylan.
In short, Jay makes supporting gay artist's easy: His humble demeanor, honest lyrics and music make listening to him a joy.
