Last Sunday October 11, the same day as the National Equality March, the Indiana Stonewall Democrats held their 2009 Leadership Awards ceremony. Honored were Congressman Andre Carson and activist Joe Miller.

Since neither Bil nor I could be there, our good friend Abdul Hakim Shabazz, from Indiana Barrister and WXNT morning show fame, kindly attended on our behalf. Here is the audio of Abdul interviewing Carson.

It tickled me pink that Abdul - a Libertarian radio host on a FOX station, went "gay for a day" to interview Rep Carson on our behalf. Kudos to Abdul for stepping outside of his usual boundaries.
