First, some good news this morning! Senator Kirk of Massachusetts has signed on to co-sponsor ENDA! Let's all call to thank him at 202-224-4543 (Toll free DC Capitol line: 866-220-0044). And while you're at it, use this handy-dandy form from United ENDA to email your Senators.

This morning is the Senate hearing on the Employment Non-Discrimination Act of 2009, S. 1584, before the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. This hearing is crucial to ENDA's passage. This should go until about noon or 1:00. As noted in Bil's post last night, there is also a press conference this morning at 9:30.

After the jump, there's a link to the hearing video. Click that to open a new window, and keep both of these windows open and size them so you can watch the video and see the Bilerico Senate ENDA Hearing Liveblog. You'll be able to read our comments about each of the witnesses and make your own comments as well.

You may also want to check out the Inclusive ENDA Facebook group, over 5300 members strong committed to educating Congress.

The Liveblog window is after the jump.

Here's a link to the hearing video.

Thanks to Jill, Bil, Phil, Kerry and everbody.

Carney had a very powerful testimony. Any chance of tapping him to pay a visit to the Senators we're trying to get for those last four votes?

Just got back from the hearing. Spent some time after the hearing visiting Senators offices. Glad to see Sen. Kirk is no. 42. I stopped in his office. It's only fitting he co-sponsor this bill. I got some good feedback from Sen. Begich's office to be co-sponsor 43, and maybe Kay Hagan will jump on board.

Sen. Merkley referenced a press conference this morning regarding ENDA, so I'm going to look for that. Where were all the Senators? I love Sen. Franken. Boy he is exactly what our Government needs right now. Some common sense!!
