Folks, this is the worst time of year to have the food pantry run out of food, yet that's exactly what is happening at the Damien Center's Coby Palmer food pantry. The Damien Center's food pantry is a vital resource for those living with HIV/AIDS around the city.

If you have any spare food, please consider donating. They are specifically requesting items such as: canned and frozen protein goods, cereal, canned fruit and vegetables, peanut butter, pasta and rice, soup, spaghetti sauce, toilet paper, toiletries, laundry detergent.

You can donate money to go directly to the food pantry online, in person, or by mail. If you donate online, be sure to select the option to have the money directed to the food pantry. Below are the address and hours of operation for Damien Center. Please give today.

Jerame, thank you for this post! I was at the Damien Center today, and your appeal is beginning to fill the shelves in the food pantry.

Projectors, this is only the beginning of a very cold and lean winter for a lot of clients and their families. Please consider buying a couple of extra things as you shop each week and bring them once a month to our food pantry.
