OMG. This is absolutely hysterical and you'll gasp at the sheer inane fundie logic and flair for the, well, dramatic. writer Glee-Golden-Girls.jpgStephenson Billings takes a look at "What Every Parent Should Know About The TV Show Glee" and comes to the conclusion that Glee will turn a generation of boys into gay terrorists. There's even a connection to the Golden Girls.

An in-depth analysis of Glee will certainly raise the eyebrows of parents across America. It contains a surprising number of mature scenarios- from pre-marital sex to drug use, from adultery to abortion, from premature ejaculation to explicit homosexual experimentation. Glee goes out of its way to appear wholesome at first glance. The first 15 minutes of every episode is quite polite and that's part of its success. It is colorful and cheerful with a scent of innocence. The message it seems to send is that teens should stay in school and aim for college. Yet beyond that (once the adults in the room tune out), it descends into a much darker place.
If our children continue to watch, they will undoubtedly be influenced by its radical same-sex messages. A generation from now, when these children become adults, what kind of country will the United States be? How many middle-aged men will find themselves in a dead-end Glee-based lifestyle?

Even with Joe's warning that Poe's Law was in effect, I still had to Google to see if it was a parody site of one of those right wing religious right organizations. Graphic via

The reporting on the Christwire website is not worth two pence. In this article (link below) on Indian-American comedian Aziz Ansari, the writer calls him an 'Arab'. He then uses a photo of another Indian-American actor (Kal Penn of 'Harold and Kumar' fame), purporting that to be of Aziz! As an Indian, I simply don't know what to say to such stupendous idiocy!

And this stupidity is what we are up against, bah!

Bil, if you were trying to imply the author was a drama QUEEN, I think you may be right. I really wonder if they haven't been punked? The level of writing in that article is markedly different from the other articles I read. If not, Stephenson is one serious closet case.

Oh, and you have GOT to check out the "Demon Meat"

(Reminds me how much I've missed the "Weekly World News" at my checkout stand...)

OK, I looked at five or six articles on this site, and I REALLY think it is a parody site - a really, really subtle parody site!
(If it's not, I may be sick...)

OK I had to check it out. Site also has a post called "Why can't I own a Canadian." Has to be a joke!!

Although I could be up for sale, Bil, if you and Jerame need a docile, house-trained Canadian. Perhaps Father Tony? I just adore a penthouse view!

a great satire site!

quite a bit more subtle than Landover Baptist - thus leading to discussions like this one; and i do understand the concern that it is so subtle and clever that fundie right wingnuts might take it str8 (so to speak).

but this atheist, homo-loving, great unwashed, doomed-to-the-flames, pinko slut has been enjoying it immensely along with the other great satirical blogs.
