I'm wearing pink in honor of Code Pink's attempted citizens' arrest of Karl Rove. But the sunglasses are because I have a secret I need to share but makes it hard to look you in the eye. This is my last lesbian vlog.

oh, Kate...

You had me worried when I saw that this would be your last vlog. That's the worry I get for not checking this site on April Fool's Day. Thanks for sticking with us. :-/

This was an interesting experience. At first, it was like, oh shit ... I'll really miss you- I've always appreciated your personality, your approach, your spirit and I was already feeling the loss.

As the clip went on, it came to me this was an April Fools prank ... which, in turn, led me to my last thought on the matter.

There is a segment of the LGBT community which has exerted the sort of influence ... "gotta hang up my lesbian/gay membership badge" and join the mainstream, because I discovered I like different sexes. As if that made anyone less qualified to contribute to the community or less stature in the community.

So maybe I'm over-sensitive ... or just feeling out of sorts on April 6th, but I'm really glad you're still with us and I'm also happy nobody I know has to make those kinds of choices-even if it's just for today.
