I do have other QMF's to put up! I have albums to review and groups I want to discuss, but musicians just keep on coming out!

English fast-talking rapper Lady Sovereign came out this week, with no pizzazz, no planning, no publicist trying to keep it a secret, no several year hiatus to find herself, and no book deal. Basically, she said her keepers wanted her to stay in the closet, but fuck them.

Seems to be her general attitude. Here's "Love me or hate me."

This sounds a lot like Eminem. This is "9 to 5."

This is "Hoodie."

Here's the more techno "I Got You Dancing."

And here's the part of the interview with Diva where she came out:

Magazines would always ask about it (sexuality) but (they) would get stopped by my publicists. It was my choice, too, because I was a bit worried about it - but now I don't really give a s**t.

You can't hide away forever. It's just stupid and now I've come out I feel a lot more comfortable with myself. But it was a bit scary back then, because some people do have horrible opinions.
