LOGO Coming to Bright House (Someday)

In the never-ending battle to get our local cable TV franchises to provide some LGBT programming, a number of LGBT folks in Indy have been contacting Bright House regularly to request LOGO be added to the channel lineup.

In the past, we'd always been told there were no plans to add LOGO in the Indianapolis market because there just wasn't enough demand, gosh darn it. Funny thing, though - Comcast, the other cable company in Indianapolis, has been carrying LOGO for quite a while now.

Today, however, I got a different response from Bright House than I normally get. Today, my friends, I got an email response that was indifferent. Oooohh. We've moved from a flat, "No" to a squishy, "At some point in the future."

It seems our plan of world domination through cable TV is working. Keep up the effort. Bright House customers should contact Bright House every month until they finally add one LGBT programming station to the scores of sports, religious, business and kids channels we are forced to pay for but never watch.

Full text of the Bright House response and contact info are after the jump.

Mr. Davis,

Thank you for taking the time to email Bright House Networks and express your interest for the LOGO channel.

Our goal at Bright House Networks is complete customer satisfaction. We are also interested in our customer's feedback.

I will forward your request to our marketing department. We are currently awaiting approval for the Indiana division for the launch of LOGO, however no definite date has been given but it shouldn't be too much longer. Please check our website and view our channel lineups regularly for any additional channel additions.
