Oh, Sesame Street. While Bert and Ernie's longtime "roommate" status has often been the topic of rumor and innuendo by other muppets (and those of us with time to wonder about the sexual orientation of puppets), Bert seems to have taken the plunge and come out of the closet a wee bit. Just in time for pride celebrations (and the opening of the A Team movie!), AfterElton caught this tweet from the little yellow guy with bad hair.

Hey, at least Sean Hayes came out finally and look what that got him! Maybe now Bert can fulfill his lifelong dream of kissing a girl on stage at the Tonys.

Speaking of Mr. T ... is he still pretending he's not into the S&M leather scene?

They have some of the best TV writers working there at Sesame Street. I heard they even had Kimya Dawson doing songs for them.

LOL! This is awesome. Why am I not following @sesamestreet? :P

And speaking of awesome people writing for the show, I read recently that Jonathan Larson used to write songs for them too. Talk about talent!
