Don't know much about this 1967 exploitation/horror movie, though IMDB's description makes it sound like the women are the aggressors. This poster, however, seems to suggest that women who don't need men deserve to be raped by men.

Oh yeah. That makes sense. And to anyone who still wonders why women got militant in the 70s, perhaps this poster explains it.

It's after the jump.

Gloria, the logic here is so solid ... what are you complaining about?

Lesbians need men like oysters need violins ... and oysters that do without violins deserve to be mugged by violins.

It's so obvious!

A.J.! THANK YOU! My irrational little mind just couldn't see that truth... :D

C'mon Lesbians and Cis Women, we Transsexuals are taking the heat off. We attract the married men that are looking to fullfil their sexual fantasies with no relationships intended. As if that's something we truly desire. NOT :D

And while the violins are mugging the oysters, somewhere there are also fish being run over by bicycles...

Won't somebody PLEASE think of the fish?!

This is why womyn and women should be "militant" today. To hell with yesterday, it is over. But our future and the future of young ones yet to come out or be born hangs in the balance. I have found sexism within the LGBT movement. I have *longed* for the good old lesbian feminist days. It's probably normal to long for a past that empowered me in ways that nothing else has or will.

What is "militant" anyway? Asking to be respected? Refusing to allow men (ANY men) demean, belittle or otherwise offend me? Speaking out when this happens? I do believe that's what we did in the 70s. I will do the above until the very day I die.

I wish I had a dollar for every time a male told me all I needed to straighten me out was his "male part"! I could pay off the remaining, substantial debt from all my surgeries and still take a fabulous trip to Fiji!!

What's almost funny if not so sick is when taken to task, that some of these dolts fall all over themselves apologizing: "I didn't mean to offend". Give me a break! I'm actually thinking of writing a book: "The 10 Dumbest Things Men Say to Lesbians."
