FX show Louie stars comic Louis CK as an openly gay man. In this clip from the show, his poker buddies start asking about gay sex clubs but things get serious quick when Louis schools his friends on the word "faggot."

Sorry to be a pedant, but that isn't correct. The star of the show is Louis/Louie C.K. but he isn't an openly gay comic. The scene above is when Louis is playing cards with his friends, one of whom is a gay man (wearing glasses). Together they talk about the word 'faggot' and the poignancy of it.

Hey just to clarify, Louis CK's character isn't gay. The gay character is played by Rick Crom, who I believe is actually gay in real life.

In the past I've been a little nervous about Louis CK's humor, but I do like how this is presented.

lol I enjoy Louis CK, but he is sitting opposite of the gay character. This was a great scene. :)

This looked to be almost more like a PSA to me. Louie CK is a comedian I like and someone who I think in general would support some of the causes of the LGBT community. But like a decent comic he brings up these things in the form of humor. IT makes you think makes you actually look at something.
