Oh what a fantastic sight this is. Rick Jacobs, founder of the Courage Campaign, finally met the National Organization for Marriage President Brian Brown at NOM's final stop on their anti-marriage equality stop.

The Courage Campaign has been the main sponsor of the NOM Tour Tracker that has followed the anti-gay folks from city to city as they traveled around the country holding hate rallies. Brian is not happy at how successful the Courage Campaign was. Not at all... Watch as things get heated between the two men.

Their plan is really imploding on them. They took the tour to make us look bad, but then everything else happened.

So, suppose a guy, marries in the closet and his wife leaves him WITH her children and goes off to party in some other state. He married her due to social pressure instead of being true to himself. Now, let's say he's not interested in repeating that mistake and not staying single and wants his partner to help raise the children? So, this thinly veiled hater's argument about men and men not being able to have flawed. Do these children need to suffer the loss incurred due to a lack of marriage available? What about lesbians who want children and opt for something artificial? Should these children also suffer? Should these parents suffer!? Why does a childless straight couple get so much free benny and a queer couple does not regardless of merit? Quite frankly, Mr. Brown's ideal marriage definition is full of holes in practice and in concept with regards to love and allowing equal definitions of love...for all of society.

This isn't an interview. This isn't a discussion. This is two people talking at one another. With Rick Jacobs badgering Brian Brown for most of it. This isn't a win. This is an embarrassment.

And this is helpful to anyone... how?

Two people set in their ways yelling at each other, neither really listening or speaking from their own experiences or heart?

What's the point?
