Great little video about one of the weirdest dolls ever sold, "Growing Up Skipper," and one woman's memories of playing with its fascinating features.

They couldn't apply this advanced technology to G.I. Joe?

That would have been awesome... "Growing Up G.I. Joe"

Hmmm... think you got something there!

LOL. I was just thinking of making a "what about a boy version" joke in teh comments.

Hey G.I. Joe had nice tits! why would anyone want them to grow bigger? Maybe they can make a doll that goes from a G.I Joe To a Skipper or Barbie? Now that I would buy several of!

That was so totally precious. Both of them are so cute. Best line: "I used to sit and play with this for hours, I guess I really should have known, because I was fascinated with the boobies."

I accidentally hit the space bar or something, because the whole YouTube thing came up and there's a whole channel for her and her friends called 5oldgays. I subscribed.

I don't know what's with me this morning, everything is striking me as hilarious.

I loved that line too, Jill. It made me actually laugh out loud.

I had this doll. I don't remember her growing taller, but I definitely remembered her sprouting boobies. Every time I mention her to my partner it's always about the boobies. What were they thinking??
