I recently did a podcast for "Gillespie" on From The Right Radio. I debated conservative blogger Dr. Melissa Cloutheir about the Prop 8 decision. The best part is that right after they stopped recording, all of the people on line - producers, guests, and hosts - agreed that they supported marriage equality for LGBT people. Every. Single. One.

BIN2010.jpgIn related being-a-liberal-political-blogger-in-the-Midwest news, the BlogIndiana2010 conference is next weekend (Aug 20 & 21) in Indianapolis, so be sure to stop by my session on "Blogging About Issue Politics." I promise it'll be more exciting than the title they gave it!

There are 34 other sessions on blogging covering everything from online reputation management, using Facebook for business, and a legal primer for bloggers. My favorite title/description (although it's for a session at the same time as mine!) is for "Why Your Site Sucks."

25 mistakes that newbies make that make visitors bounce faster than if you had auto-started your favorite midi and pushed erectile disfunction [sic] medication in a popup window.

Hope to see some of the local readers at BIN2010!
