Here's an ad that shows the dramatic effect of HIV/AIDS medication with a woman who agreed to be filmed for 90 days. And to think that funding for this is on the chopping block in several states in the name of "fiscal responsibility"; this period in American history is not going to be remembered for its generosity.

Well, face it: if she were sitting on an oil well or owned a big bank or maybe ran a multi-national with a lot of defence contracts, she could get all the meds she wanted — for free, probably. That's just how this country rolls.
