If the Oscars are a bright Christmas Day, the Golden Globes are an overstuffed Thanksgiving dinner, with the same family members standing around but without the gifts. But you have to go anyway, right?

Watch the Golden Globe nominations being announced with me! We'll find out if the lesbian comedy/drama The Kids are All Right gets its due, and if atrocious gay flicks like Burlesque manage to swindle an award out of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Extra Newsflash: Katie Holmes does some of the announcing and has toned down her desperate Stockholm Syndrome face, so that's something.

OK, I should mention that yes, boxer movies DO win (Rocky, Million Dollar Baby), so I should amend my remark: GREAT boxer movies like Raging Bull have not.

You are seriously funny! LoL! But come on!!
How can you bypass television?? I mean w/all the criticisms regarding television programing there is actually ONE or TWO cable channels that are creating something outside of the literal BOOB tube... AMC and HBO!
Bryan Cranston received a Golden Globe Nomination for one of the best shows on television:

Breaking Bad.

I love these videos, Mark. They make me giggle so much.
