The Real Life GLEE Kids!

Why does amateur video of kids singing in a community concert give me such a lump in my throat? The NYC Youth Pride Chorus (a LGBT/straight alliance) in this clip is simply singing, and yet I'm overcome with such pride and regret and happiness and loss, all bound together watching them perform.

To wile away some time with other great kids like these, I recommend these moving videos of Denver's Mosaic Youth Chorus and Pittsburgh's youth group "Dreams of Hope." And thanks to The Subversive Librarian for sharing these great vids with me!

This is absolutely awesome. Way to go, guys!

It just made me so happy, knowing these kids are in the world. I'm corny, I can't help it.

Thanks, Mark, for giving these brave and talented kids the kudos (and publicity) they so deserve.

Dreams of Hope's Susan Haugh rocks! Her dedication, commitment and skills is amazing. we are so lucky to have her in Pittsburgh
