Army of Lovers was a Swedish pop group from the late 80's wasn't a huge musical success in the US at the time, but their dramatic and fun videos have been preserves for posterity on YouTube. Here's "Crucified."

"Crucified" is one of my favorite songs. I wore that tape out in the early 90s. I bought the CD single a long time ago to have all the dance mixes. :)
I miss the 80s. It was so okay to go over the top.
