It's great to know that the folks in power screwing up the lives of thousands of Wisconsin residents recallbaby.jpgare at least pissing off their own families too. Wisconsin state senator Randy Hopper (R-Fond du Lac), who worked closely with Governor Scott Walker to establish the budget repair bill, bypassed protesters at his home on Saturday. The Raw Story reports:

Mrs. Hopper appeared at the door and informed them that Sen. Hopper was no longer in residence at this address, but now lives in Madison, WI with his 25-year-old mistress.

Blogging Blue reports that the conservative Republican's much-younger new flame is currently employed as a lobbyist for right-wing advocacy group Persuasion Partners, Inc., but was previously a state senate staffer who worked on the Senate Economic Development Committee alongside Mr. Hopper.

I don't really care who the dude sleeps with, but his soon to be ex-wife seems to! It looks like Mrs. Hopper will be among the many Wisconsinites signing the petition for his recall. Be it recognizing how screwed up the bill is or familial bitterness, whatever it takes to vote him out works for me!

In the words of the Michael Steele puppet on "The Daily Show," "I'm not saying he's a dick from Wisconsin, but Brett Favre just texted me his picture!"

Oust 'em all and replace them with people who will undo the damage. That'll stop them... for a couple of years.

I love it that the wife signed the recall petition and so did the maid. Priceless.
