Was Lady Gaga Born A Coal Miner's Daughter?

Lady Gaga seems to be channeling Loretta Lynn in this mix of her new song, "Born This Way." Gaga gives the tune a country twang by throwing in some guitars, harmonica, and slowing down the beat.

What do you think? Did you shed a tear in your beer?

I believe Ms. Gaga has a silver spoon. Pretty sure of it. That would negate the miner-s daughter thing. But I agree: her music sometimes has that twang.

She's big in our house. My other half is all-over-Gaga. I'm mildly interested. The whole egg-carriage thing at the Grammies got my attention.
