My Rabbi mentioned this at Friday night services this weekend. dana_international.jpg

Remember when Dana International won the 1998 EuroVision competition? Well, she won the Israeli national competition again, with her self-penned song "Ding Dong," and so she's representing Israel yet again. She's arguably one of the most famous transsexual celebrities in the world. Her website has the following quote on the splash page: ""I'm standing for a liberal Israel, an Israel which accepts the human being no matter how you are, no matter how you look like and no matter what sex or race you are." Go Dana! (By the way, in Hebrew the name sounds like "Donna.", Anyway, her real name is Sharon Cohen.) Here she is with her winning entry, "Ding Dong." Good luck, Dana!

Thanks for posting this!! I'm glad that Dana International is back. Proud of her and proud of her as Israel's representative...

Great song! But is Israel part of Europe?

I wouldn't worry too much about the integrity of the Eurovision contest.
