This is kind of cute! Comedian Lisa Lampanelli vowed via Twitter to donate $1000 to the Gay Men's Health Crisis in the names of every Westboro Baptist Church protestor who showed up to her Topeka, KA show last Friday. Their protest was in response to Lampanelli's tweet calling the WPC "silly losers," condemning Lampanelli for supposedly supporting gay rights.

Lampanelli said, "well if they're going to protest me, how can we turn this into a little bit of love too and kind of turn it on them."

48 protestors showed up outside the Topeka Performing Arts center, prompting Lampanelli to promise the donation of an even $50,000.

I can't stand Lampanelli's brand of humor... but I think I love her a little bit for this!

I actually love Lisa - saw her last year, and her comedy's just like Kathy Griffin's - and I love her even more for doing this haha.

Cool. Make the haters love. I think this should happen everywhere they protest. Find a gay charity and donate to it in their name. That might actually stop those heathens!
