The final installment of the Harry Potter saga opens tonight at midnight. As Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 hits theaters, the movie has already sold over $32 million in pre-ticket sales.

Need to catch up on the franchise before hitting the theater at midnight? Here's a handy recap of the first seven flicks in seven minutes.

Jerame and I have tickets to go see the movie on Saturday afternoon with fellow contributor David Castillo and his boyfriend, Jim. Jim is a huge Potter fan and usually dresses up as a Slytherin wizard; this time he says it's too hot for the cape so he'll just have his wand in hand. I told him he could get arrested for doing that in a movie theater...

Who else is going to see Harry Potter on opening weekend?

We're also going on Saturday afternoon. It's one of the movies Ken and I can agree on. :)

Yes! I'm going tonight and I'm so excited, I could pee my pants! :E Eeeee!!!

We are going tonight at midnight PST with our niece and nephew in tow!

No dressing up, though. Weve been telling people we are dressed up as muggles.

I must confess, I have seen every single Harry Potter movie and loved them and I can not tell you a damn thing about them. The plots just evaporate from my mind before I make it to the car.

But I can't wait for the last one! I hear it's great. Something about a boy wizard with a green lantern who's from the dark side of the moon or something.
