Watch as presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty squirms on Meet the Press and tries to avoid the question over whether or not being gay is a choice. He's right though, there is no genetic conclusion yet. It's his stance on marriage equality that's most disturbing.

Why do we still have this debate about whether being gay is a choice? Although I don't believe I had a menu from which to choose my orientation or gender, why should it matter? Religion is a choice, and it is protected. Bigotry is a choice, and obviously it is protected as well.

If only non-choice behaviors are protected, we devolve into a society of majority tyranny (maybe we're already there?). In that case, let's scrap any constitutional protection for risky chosen behaviors characterized by adults targeting and recruiting children, especially without their consent. Let's ban religion.

Why, why, why don't these "reporters" ask the obvious questions, like, "When did you choose to be heterosexual"? or "Have your two teenage daughters chosen their sexual orientation yet"?

The issue was made clear by research done UT medical school. Using data that drawn on 3 decades of research. One's gay or straight happens between the 6th and `12th weeks of gestation. Pregnant women create testosterone. the male fetuses who take in the testosterone become straight men. Male fetuses that don't take on testosterone or in lower quantity will turn out gay. Corresponding absorption patterns in female fetuses ---absorbing it makes Lesbians not absorbing or little absorption caused straight women. The conclusion was given with a 97% validity of the research,.
