I'm pretty sure that Dumbledore might quibble a bit about that whole "getting better" part, but, as Snape points out, life is not a bunch of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans.

This isn't really Alan Rickman, but it is one of the best It Gets Better out there.

OMG, I laughed until I cried. That's the funniest Snape impression I've heard since Alan Rickman's answering machine.

However, I must be a total geek and point out that Dumbledore's plan to have Snape kill him wasn't just to prove to Voldemort that Snape was on his side. Dumbledore knew that:

a) Voldemort had ordered Draco Malfoy to kill him,
b) He (Dumbledore) had mastery of the Elder Wand, and
c) Whoever defeats the Elder Wand's master becomes the new master, BUT
d) If no one defeats the Elder Wand's master, its power is essentially nullified.

The goal was to save Draco Malfoy and to prevent Voldemort from wielding the most powerful wand in the world. Because Dumbledore and Snape agreed to the plan, Snape would not technically "defeat" him, so the Elder Wand would no longer be a threat, and Draco would have an opportunity to redeem himself before he completely lost his soul. It had to be Snape, because he was the only one whom both Dumbledore and Voldemort trusted.

Okay, I'll shut up now. That little nit-picking aside, awesome video.
