Is the significance of the quote Mr. Narvaez's improper use of the normally intransitive verb regress?

Do you ask because you think Obama should be re-elected?

People should consider these questions before you support the re-election of Obama or the election of any Republican.

Teabaggers, Democrats and Republicans like Bachmann, Perry and Obama endorse the torture of GLBT/antiwar hero Brad Manning.

They also support the Paytriot Act and FISA, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, amended under Bush to make it easy to conduct internal spying on US citizens critical of government policies.

They also permit and support the suppression of evidence of the criminal activities of banksters s involvement in the current depression, in conspiracies to cut wages, bust unions, an effort Obama took the lead in, to increase fees and interest payments and in illegal foreclosures.

They also permit and support the criminal activities of industries like offshore rig operators and mining companies including murder of workers and degrading the environment.

They also conspire to involve the US in illegal wars of aggression, killing, maiming and wasting the lives of tens of thousands of GIs and millions of civilians.

They also uniformly and pigheadedly oppose same sex marriage, and judging by their action, oppose repeal of Bill Clintons DOMA and passage of ENDA. They disagree on DADT because Obama is a warmonger in the service of oil companies who needs more cannon fodder so he can attack even more countries.

Why would any sane person vote for or support any Teabagger, Democrat and Republican politician, They're all criminals and they're pretty much alike.

Sadly I cannot disagree with Bill Perdue. About the only thing one can say in defense of Obama is that the likely electable alternatives are far worse. Frankly we are all being given just degrees of Conservatives to vote for and no progressives. We are in my opinion, engaged in a class war which I would dare say those reading this are on the side being taken in by the few ubber wealthy who we should be opposing. We should retake the Democratic party back much the same way the so called Tea Party has the Republican party. That is likely the only way we will see change and frankly it is my belief if we do not do so soon we will never be able to as they will have the deck stacked too well to ever fix the problem without full out revolution.

I don't think there's any question of taking the Democrat Party back. It was never yours in the first place. Both, or is it all three political parties are like all other institutions and products in the US. They're for sale and they've long since been bought by the rich. That process began shortly after the Civil War and it's absolutely irreversible.

Union bureaucrats, youth, GLBT misleaders, antiwar activists, environmentalists, people of color, the under and unemployed, the homeless and those in poverty have zero - zilch, nada, no, zip, nil - clout in the internal decision making of the Democrat Party. They never have and they never will. They may get the occasional pat on the back but it's invariably followed, at some point, by a knife to the back.

Obama's polling numbers are within walking distance of George Bush's all time low of 22% in 2008 and Congressional Democrats are barely ahead of their Teabagger and Republican cousins. Polling numbers for Congress as a whole may reach single digits before long. All three parties are going to lie and say they're for jobs but they won't do anything real about zeroing out unemployment and underemployment, which are not at 9%, but at 16%. The 9% figure only counts those getting benefits. Now that Obama's signed the Teabagger deficit reduction bill ending long term extensions for unemployment and guaranteeing the economy will take an even worse nosedive the question of unemployment is going to become explosive. So will the assault by all three parties on the standard of living of working people.

The fastest and surest way to influence the owners of the Democrat, Teabagger and Republican parties is to build mass action oriented movements and to fight to get the AFL-CIO to unleash our Labor Party and its vast potential to educate and organize.
