"We are honored to share this night with President Obama who has a tremendous record of accomplishment for LGBT people. On the heels of the end to 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell,' we look forward to celebrating our victories and redoubling our efforts for the fights that remain ahead."

Wow, is it even possible no one has commented on this story yet? I guess that's a good thing after all. Many of the dollars raised at HRC's annual dinner are plowed back into the HRC brand and more fundraising. This is how large, self-perpetuating non-profits remain self-perpetuating. Perhaps HRC's critics have decided to accept this fact and put their own dollars to work elsewhere.
