Now this is what I call street justice.

After all the court talk this week following the Ninth Circuit's ruling on Prop 8 and its possible path to the US Supreme Court, what could be better than a refresher in elementary justice from one of the justices that very well may decide the fate of marriage rights in this country?

In this video posted last week that first aired on January 25, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor makes a stop in to Sesame Street and gets roped into presiding over Bear v. Goldilocks. As with most things Muppett, everyone leaves happy.

Fingers crossed that the next time we see a justice on Sesame Street they will be there to officiate when Burt and Ernie can finally update their domestic partnership to full marriage rights.
